# The tools behind the work.

An open-source contribution, private MCP servers and the Claude Code workflow I use on every project.

## wp-devdocs-mcp

PluginsLab's MCP server indexes the hooks, filters and blocks of WordPress, WooCommerce and Gutenberg, so AI assistants work from a verified database instead of guessing from training data. I contributed the documentation layer released in 1.1.0: seven handbook parsers and three new tools.

- `search_docs`: find handbook pages
- `get_doc`: read one page
- `list_docs`: browse what is indexed

## wp-ftp-mcp and prestashop-ftp-mcp

Read-only access to WordPress and PrestaShop sites over FTP, SFTP and MySQL, with built-in knowledge of each platform. They let an AI assistant inspect a live site without any risk of changing it.

### Read-only at every level

Writes are blocked in SQL validation, in the file API and in the tool design itself.

### Credentials in the Keychain

Passwords and SSH keys stay in the macOS Keychain, never in configuration files.

### Personal data masked

Checksum-validated patterns and a local privacy model mask personal data before it reaches the AI.

### Platform-aware

Plugins, themes and configuration for WordPress; modules, versions and multistore layouts for PrestaShop.

Not public. Available to clients under a licence for internal use, on macOS with Apple Silicon.

## How a change reaches your site

### Context

Claude Code reads the repository, project instructions and, through the MCP servers, the live site.

### Change

The change is written on a branch, small and reviewable.

### Gates

PHPStan, coding-standard security sniffs and gitleaks secret scanning run before every commit.

### Review

I review the diff myself, then you approve it before it goes live.
