Privacy policy

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Jani Kowalski, self-employed (autónomo) in Spain.

The address, tax number and email are shown after a quick check that keeps them away from automated scrapers.

For any privacy request, write to the email address shown above.

What I collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, to verify your address and reply to you. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract, or my legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
  • Security: your IP address and a Cloudflare Turnstile check, to block spam and enforce rate limits on the form and on the check that shows the owner details. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • Statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
  • Preferences: your chosen language and colour theme, stored on your device (see the cookie policy).

How long I keep it

  • Unconfirmed contact messages: deleted automatically when the confirmation link expires, after 60 minutes.
  • Confirmed messages and our correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless a contract or a legal obligation requires longer.
  • Rate-limit records: deleted within 24 hours.

Who processes it for me

  • Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security, Turnstile and analytics. Contact messages and rate-limit records are stored in Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction. Pages are served from the Cloudflare data centre nearest to you, and security, Turnstile and analytics data may be processed outside the EEA.
  • Resend (United States): sending the confirmation email and forwarding your message. Resend stores data in the United States.
  • Google Cloud EMEA Limited (Ireland): Google Workspace hosts the procadena.com mailbox, where confirmed messages and our correspondence are kept.
  • Transfers outside the EEA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in each provider's data processing addendum.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to the email address above. If you are not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date.
